Oh. Hey. It’s you. Don’t let the title of this blog post deceive you. I’m not mad at all. I’m just hurt. So the best you can do now is read this blog post by yours truly and sign the divorce papers that I emailed to you as a pdf.
The alt.news 26:46 crew have been hard at work for the beginning of 2017! Due to the current political climate, there have been a lot of marches and protests lately. Read ahead to find out what protests the alt.news crew got to attend!
On January 20, there was a Trump Walkout where several students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale walked out of their classes to protest Trump and his nearly vacant inauguration. The youth brought their voices out to make the campus well aware that Trump’s presidency will not be welcomed there without some good ol’ Saluki hostility. alt.news 26:46 staff members Julie Johnson and Ben Giles were there to film it and interview those who arranged the walkout.

The following day, A Women’s March on Washington took place. There were several more female-led rallies and marches that happened worldwide on January 21. alt.news 26:46 staff member Julius Jefferson and crew member Caleb Shelton filmed the march that occurred in Carbondale, IL and got to witness a very powerful movement be actualized. The streets were full of support for the march and absolute joy came from its success in getting the community together for this necessary event.
You will be able to check out segments based on these two events in the next episode of alt.news 26:46. In other news, location scouting for season 18′s short film has begun and a rough cut of Dogs Tire Service has been completed. You will be able to see both later this spring.
That’s all I have for you this month, readers. As usual, Stay Alternative!
