Welcome back to the 26:46 blog! This year’s 26:46 fest has passed and there are now two awesome skits to use for this season. As I mentioned in the previous blog post, 26:40 Fest involves the two Executive Producers, Andrew Phillips and Julianna Johnson, splitting the 26:46 crew into two teams that they lead to produce an ID or transition in 26 hours and 40 minutes.

(Pictured above: A screenshot from “A Skit Regarding a French Vampire Mime (Mimepire?),” that shows the titular character (portrayed by Ben Giles) having a celebratory puff of his cigarette after capturing his human target with an invisible lasso.)

Andrew Phillips led an alternative team to make the tragicomedy, Clowning Around. This skit is about a group of concerned young men who host an intervention for their clown pal Jeff. If you like pranks and puns, this is the skit for you!

After a very extensive session of pre-production, Julianna Johnson led her own alternative team to make a brief skit about a Vampire French Mime who hunts a young lady in the woods. If you like Ben Giles smoking cigarettes and Dexter’s Laboratory, this is the skit for you!

I personally like both and think that both teams put together some great con-tent for what’s looking like a damn good season! I really can’t wait for you all to see these sometime in the near future. That’s all I have for you now, readers. Stay alternative!
